Huntington Beach

We decided to take one last minute vacation to the beach this weekend and it was so much fun. Just the look on Jaxon's face when we got to the ocean the first night was priceless. It made the whole trip totally worth it. He loved chasing the waves back into the ocean and didn't even care that the water was freezing... he especially loved chasing the birds and chased them all day up and down the beach. It was so nice to relax on the beach and not have any commitments...just some quality family time. Just a warning...there are a ton of pics but who could pick just a few...so many good ones!
Our cute little familyTyler and Sam joined us for the chaos...
Gotta love the bumbo!!

Check out those legs!
Jaxon & Cori - one of my favorite pics!
Chasing the waves!
He actually let Chad and Uncly Ty bury him in the sand...and he loved it!
I love that they have the same look on their face.

He just loves his daddy...too cute.
The movie below is just one of many of Jaxon chasing birds!!

Contacts anyone?

I have a bunch of -1.75 contacts that I don't need. Can anyone use them? Our prescriptions have changed so we can use them anymore. Just let me know!! They are Acuvue 2 brand.

Cori's 4 months old

it's hard to believe that my baby girl is already 4 months old...it goes way to fast! I guess she isn't so little anymore....her latest
17 lbs 27inches
She loves to smile and talk. Sometimes it feels like she is having a conversation. She loves to suck her thumb (which I tried desperately to stop but she is a very determined girl....and not much I can change.) She is constantly rolling onto her belly and is very proud. She learned to brace her feet and arch her back and finds her way around the floor. She loves playing pat-a- cake and starts laughing as soon as you start singing! She loves looking at herself in the mirror and has found a new friend!

our summer!!

I was never very good at this blogging thing when I had one kid...now that I have two...it's been even worse. :) We've been very busy this summer swimming and doing lots of activities. Just a few weeks ago we went to my family reunion in Logan, Utah. It is so pretty there...it makes you want to live there for a second until you remember that it snows and gets very cold.....We also went to Thanksgiving point and Hogle Zoo (the highlight of the trip!!)

Jaxon loves his baby sister!

Jaxon loves animals and Cori. He is always trying to give her his animals (which is rare because he doesn't share them very easily) and play with her. I put her on the couch and within minutes this is what she looked liked...enjoying every minute of it.

He loves her so much!!

Happy Birthday Jaxon!!

It's so hard to believe that my lil' man is two years old. These past two years have been a blast... (except for the temper tantrums and screaming fits :) It's hard to remember the times before he came. He is precious though and has brought so much joy to our lives. He does the funniest things and always makes you feel good. He has always been a very good baby and that same temperament has stayed with him (most of the time). My favorite is that he loves to cuddle with me...especially in the morning. I bring him into bed around 6 (hoping he'll let me sleep for at least 15 more minutes) and he wraps both arms around my neck, pushes his cheek against mine and goes back to sleep..I don't get much sleep but I treasure every moment of it. He is a great big brother and feel very blessed to have him...we love you jaxon!!!

My Lil' Cowboy

What a stud muffin! My mom had a cowboy roundup and took all of her boy grandkids for the weekend. Jaxon looked so cute in his cowboy outfit with boots and everything (thanks Leigh)! I couldn't help but smile as we went to take their pictures and he was just struttin' around in his boots and hat! We took their pictures at Floyd Lamb Park and then they went back to grandma and grandpa's house for cowboy games and activities. They slept under the stars and went to Calico, California the next morning. It's an old ghost town. They rode a train, watched cowboys have a gun fight and so much more! And the most exciting part was that I had a fun free night with Chad...and we slept in the next morning! Thanks grandma and grandpa!
