Happy Birthday Jaxon!!

It's so hard to believe that my lil' man is two years old. These past two years have been a blast... (except for the temper tantrums and screaming fits :) It's hard to remember the times before he came. He is precious though and has brought so much joy to our lives. He does the funniest things and always makes you feel good. He has always been a very good baby and that same temperament has stayed with him (most of the time). My favorite is that he loves to cuddle with me...especially in the morning. I bring him into bed around 6 (hoping he'll let me sleep for at least 15 more minutes) and he wraps both arms around my neck, pushes his cheek against mine and goes back to sleep..I don't get much sleep but I treasure every moment of it. He is a great big brother and feel very blessed to have him...we love you jaxon!!!

My Lil' Cowboy

What a stud muffin! My mom had a cowboy roundup and took all of her boy grandkids for the weekend. Jaxon looked so cute in his cowboy outfit with boots and everything (thanks Leigh)! I couldn't help but smile as we went to take their pictures and he was just struttin' around in his boots and hat! We took their pictures at Floyd Lamb Park and then they went back to grandma and grandpa's house for cowboy games and activities. They slept under the stars and went to Calico, California the next morning. It's an old ghost town. They rode a train, watched cowboys have a gun fight and so much more! And the most exciting part was that I had a fun free night with Chad...and we slept in the next morning! Thanks grandma and grandpa!

What we've been up to....

Sorry for the very long post but....it has been a very busy couple of weeks. My sisters and their kids have been in town and we have been busy swimming and finding fun things to do. Of course I took a million pics and it is so hard to pic just one! So I hope you enjoy!!

Bounce U
So we've found a new place to go this summer. It is an indoor warehouse filled with jump houses. It doesn't cost hardly anything and Jaxon was totally worn out by the time we got home. I can't wait to go again! All of my nieces and nephews were in town so my mom treated us to a fun afternoon. Thanks mom!

My Little Girl Is 2 Months Old!
Cori is getting so big! It's hard to believe that she is already 2 months old. She is such a good baby and we feel incredibly blessed to have another sweet spirit in our home. She smiles all the time...it is so much fun to wake up to her smiling face. And even though it looks like her brother is attacking her, she loves every moment of it. She smiles when she see him and he talks to her and she talks back...how cute!

Tea Time
My mom and sister decided to have a Victorian Tea Party since all of the grandkids were in town. Only the girls went and learned proper etiquette and how to drink tea (lemonade). Everyone dressed up...even little Cori! My sister and mom are so creative...it must of skipped my genes.

Jaxon's Almost Two!
I can't believe that my other baby is almost two! We celebrated his birthday because all of my family is in town and we thought it would be fun if all the cousins could be together...all 17 of them. We had pizza and went swimming! It was a little crazy with so many kids in the pool but they had a blast and Jaxon couldn't wait to get to play with all of his new toys! He got a little impatient opening them but he survived. His Grandma Leavitt puts candy on the outside of his presents (it's a tradition) and we kept catching him sneak the candy! We let him...just because it was his birthday!

Cori's Big Day

I know this post is a little late...but at least I'm posting. It seems like I'm always two weeks behind so no big deal! Chad blessed Cori the first Sunday in June and gave a beautiful blessing. Cori behaved well and looked beautiful in her white blessing dress. Thanks for all those who came and supported us...and thanks to Uncle Chris for taking some awesome pics!

Comparing Babies

It's amazing how much these two kids look alike. I guess we won't have much surprise with the next one. It's a good thing one is in pink and the other blue! Their mannerisms are so much alike it's kinda scary although Cori has developed a little attitude...just preparing us for the drama to come...

Both of my kids sleep with their hands right next to their faces. Cori likes to pull the blanket over her head and I am constantly checking her and having to pull it down.

Jaxon at 3 weeks

Cori at 4 weeks
