Our poor little guy...this is the result to a 2am trip to the ER this morning. After alot of screaming, crying, and two stitches...this is what we got!! Poor Jaxon! Every night Jaxon thinks he needs to sleep in our bed so by about 2 am we here the little pitter patter of his feet and he ends up in our bed (I know this is a problem so if anyone has any suggestions....) Well, last night, he came RUNNING (I think he is getting scared of the dark) and tripped over a pillow and went headfirst into my nightstand. Chad turned the light on and he was crying and his eye was gushing blood. So...we ended up in the ER at 2 this morning. Jaxon was such a trooper. He did really good right up to the point when 4 people had to hold him down so that the doctor could stitch up his eyelid. They wrapped his eye so that he wouldn't rub it and cause the wound to open again! I felt so bad. After the whole ordeal was over, we promisied him some candy and he was good to go...even trying to say cheese for the camera! Doesn't he remind you of chubby wubby?!? or as my sister would say...Sloth from the goonies...but either way...he was a champ and handled everything very well!

Finally Announcing...
(sorry if you thought it was more exciting news...haha!)
He is going both pee and poop and doesn't have any accidents at night. We aren't even using pull-ups anymore! I'm so proud and all it took was a little bribery and a trip to "Mickey Mouse's House." Yup...we're going to Disneyland!
Since this post is all about Jaxon...i'm going to brag a little. He is learning so much and can say/shout his ABC's from beginning to end. He can recognize all the letters and knows how to spell his name. He is getting too big too fast but I love that he is such a sponge right now!! We are so proud of you Jaxon!!

Precious!
We have been struggling with bed time lately (more than usual) so today I decided to skip the nap and see if bedtime went more smoothly. This is what I found after putting Cori to sleep and straightening up the house. He looks so sweet and I love that his hand is still in the popcorn bowl!

SNOW!!
It snowed...in Vegas!! Jaxon had so much fun once he realized it wouldn't hurt him. At first he was a little timid but by the end of the day he was making snowman and throwing snowballs at everyone. It was snowing when we woke up this morning and stayed steady till about 4:30 this afternoon. It was a fun day to just hang out at home, play in the snow, and take long naps. Too bad we didn't have a fireplace to keep us warm!!

6 Months
Cori is 6 months old!
- weighs 19lbs 13 oz and it 27 1/2 inches long
-loves to eat...anything, she holds her mouth open like a little bird every time she sees a spoon.
-rolls everywhere, i laid her on the living room floor and found her in the kitchen
- loves Jaxon - he is the only one that can make her laugh hysterically and for long periods of time
- loves her jumper
- hates her car seat
- possibly double jointed? always is bent over in half sucking her toes
-sleeps 12 hours every night!!
- i just lay her down in her crib and she goes right to sleep...no fussing (jaxon never did that) and she can fall asleep anywhere
- loves to smile and make lots of noises
Cori has developed quite the personality and keeps us smiling everyday. She is very good natured and only seems to fuss when she is ready to eat and ready to go to bed. I just hope the next six months goes a little slower!
Here's a little preview for Halloween

Jaxon's First Day of School
We started a little preschool group with some friends and Jaxon is so excited. We went to the store and got a little school box with crayons, glue, and scissors and he carried it around all day saying "I go school mama." He got his backpack and was ready to go. It was so cute! Chad is back in school and whenever he leaves Jaxon always says "I go to school with dada." so it was exciting for him to actually be a big boy and go. It's very quick paced ( Five 2year old boys is a bit challenging. :) ) but Jaxon has fun and everyday asks me if he can go to school.
I decided to make this post today because early tonight I was calling my mom asking her if she wanted him! (haha) He has been such a little rascal lately and I needed to remind myself how cute he is and how much fun we have together!! :)
