Jaxon loves animals and Cori. He is always trying to give her his animals (which is rare because he doesn't share them very easily) and play with her. I put her on the couch and within minutes this is what she looked liked...enjoying every minute of it.

It's so hard to believe that my lil' man is two years old. These past two years have been a blast... (except for the temper tantrums and screaming fits :) It's hard to remember the times before he came. He is precious though and has brought so much joy to our lives. He does the funniest things and always makes you feel good. He has always been a very good baby and that same temperament has stayed with him (most of the time). My favorite is that he loves to cuddle with me...especially in the morning. I bring him into bed around 6 (hoping he'll let me sleep for at least 15 more minutes) and he wraps both arms around my neck, pushes his cheek against mine and goes back to sleep..I don't get much sleep but I treasure every moment of it. He is a great big brother and feel very blessed to have him...we love you jaxon!!!
What a stud muffin! My mom had a cowboy roundup and took all of her boy grandkids for the weekend. Jaxon looked so cute in his cowboy outfit with boots and everything (thanks Leigh)! I couldn't help but smile as we went to take their pictures and he was just struttin' around in his boots and hat! We took their pictures at Floyd Lamb Park and then they went back to grandma and grandpa's house for cowboy games and activities. They slept under the stars and went to Calico, California the next morning. It's an old ghost town. They rode a train, watched cowboys have a gun fight and so much more! And the most exciting part was that I had a fun free night with Chad...and we slept in the next morning! Thanks grandma and grandpa!
Sorry for the very long post but....it has been a very busy couple of weeks. My sisters and their kids have been in town and we have been busy swimming and finding fun things to do. Of course I took a million pics and it is so hard to pic just one! So I hope you enjoy!!
It's amazing how much these two kids look alike. I guess we won't have much surprise with the next one. It's a good thing one is in pink and the other blue! Their mannerisms are so much alike it's kinda scary although Cori has developed a little attitude...just preparing us for the drama to come...
Both of my kids sleep with their hands right next to their faces. Cori likes to pull the blanket over her head and I am constantly checking her and having to pull it down.

Cori at 4 weeksOn spur of the moment, we decided to travel to Colorado for Chad's cousins wedding....little did we know that we would travel over 1500 miles and visit 4 different states.
Our first stop was in St. George, Utah for the sealing. Chad went to the sealing while I hung out with the kids in the waiting room. Jaxon did great except for hanging up the phone when this little old lady was trying to talk to her phone company....oops!
We then drove to Grand Junction, Colorado for the reception the following night. Of course I didn't take any pics of the bride but this is Jaxon dancing with the ladies...girls better watch out. He went to one of his cousins and grabbed her hands to dance (so cute) but the first girl (the one to the right) told him no so when she wanted to dance later he wouldn't have anything to do with her.

We started back to Vegas and decided to go to the Grand Canyon. On the way, we stopped at Four Corners Monument (which is not as big of a deal as we thought it would be...so don't make a special trip if you ever wanted to see it!)
